Collaboration with Go Forest

Taking a language course at Landa ensures growth. Thanks to our partnership with Go Forest, not only will your language level grow, but also the green lung of our planet: in fact, together we are planting trees with impact for a greener future!

Why do we plant trees?

We, as humans, take a lot from nature.

  • Over the past 50 years, 67% of biodiversity has been lost.
  • 15% of greenhouse gas emissions are directly attributable to global deforestation.
  • Every minute, 27 soccer fields of forest disappear.

It is therefore our responsibility to give back and restore.

Go Forest is working with companies in Belgium and abroad to turn the tide.

Reforestation with positive ecological, social and economic impact, that's the goal!

Tree planting in Madagascar

Landa chooses to participate in the forest agriculture project (agroforestry) in Tamatave, Madagascar.

  • 95% of Madagascar's reptiles, 89% of its plants and 92% of its mammals are found nowhere else on earth.
  • 77.4% of Madagascar's population lives below the poverty line.
  • In 2021, the famine in Madagascar was declared by the UN to be the first famine entirely due to climate change: barely 10% of the primary forest remains intact.

By supporting the project in Madagascar, we not only help nature, but consequently also the local population.

How are you helping?

Landa plants trees for every new student. That way, your language level grows along with the trees. Like a tree, you keep growing and developing until you are strong enough to use your language skills confidently at work.

Via the satellite platform, you can follow the project in Madagascar yourself!

Let's plant impact trees together for a greener future!
